Position Highlights:
Nebraska Medicine is now taking applications for a talented individual to join us as aRadiation Therapist PRN/Casual. This role will be great for someone that has a passion for radiation and great customer service for our patients we serve. This specific position will work from the Buffett Cancer Center on the main medical campus in Omaha NE.

Radiation Therapist PRN/Casual Description:
Responsible for performing the accurate delivery of prescribed ionizing therapeutic radiation using a variety of complex techniques and equipment.
Required Qualifications:
Graduate of an accredited school of radiation therapy technology or completion of an American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) special eligibility requirement course is required.
Effective verbal/written communication skills required.
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required must be from an American Heart Association (AHA) endorsed program (effective for new hires starting January 1 2023 or later.)
Registered by American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) in radiation therapy required.
CPR certification required.
Preferred Qualifications:
Prior experience in radiation oncology is preferred.
Bachelors of Science degree in radiologic technology or related field is preferred.
Expertise in operation of linear accelerators and CT simulators and ability to fabricate treatment devices preferred.
Registered by American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) in radiography preferred.
Nebraska License to practice medical radiography preferred.
