Job Description
The NFL Films PartTime Development Assistant supports the Head of Development and Innovation to generate more ideas develop more shows and attract more partners. This role also takes initiative to engage Creatives at NFL Films in the development process.
Responsibilities to own or support
- Write loglines indepth treatments and deck copy.
- Research player stories history photos newspapers and industry activity.
- Organize and document project status meeting notes and incoming ideas.
- Design visual presentation materials.
- Participate in pitching ideas for new and existing programming.
- Engage with Creatives at NFL Films in the development process
- Schedule calendar meetings with internal and external parties
Hours of Work
- 30 hours/week
- Inperson
Required Qualifications
- 4year college degree in television film media communications creative writing English or other relevant areas of study
- Detailed knowledge of professional football (NFL)
- Interest in telling football and other sports stories
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience with building pitch decks
- Experience with Adobe design suite (Photoshop Illustrator InDesign) Canva and generative AI.
- Relevant experience or education in development.
- Knowledge of NFL Films programming past and present
- Interest in the business side of television.
- Demonstrated research experience.
- Basic storytelling & creative writing skills
- Strong time management skills and comfortable working on multiple projects at once covering all stages of the development timeline from research through to presentation
- Previous experience in sports storytelling/television/film production is preferred but not required

- Ability to work comfortably with and engage with a large group of creative people

- Willingness to quickly adapt to changing deadlines and work schedules.
