Job Description
HCA Florida Ocala Hospital is looking for a physician assistant or nurse practitioner to join their esteemed neurosurgery team within a wellestablished program.
Qualified Candidates:
Be part of a skilled neuroscience team that includes 4 neurosurgeons 4 advanced practice providers (APPs) 2 neurointerventionalists and 2 neurohospitalists.
Open to both experienced providers and new graduates.
Hospital Duties:
o Manage a busy neurosurgery service.
o Participate in 3 operative days per week with a mix of 20% cranial and 80% spine cases.
o Perform bedside neuroICU and neurosurgical trauma procedures.
Outpatient Clinic:
o Engage in 2 days per week of outpatient clinic work.
Shared call responsibilities.
Enjoy a high level of autonomy and the chance to work on a wide range of neurosurgical cases and procedures.
Contribute to a large multidisciplinary team in a comprehensive stroke center and Level 1 trauma center supported by an excellent neuroICU neurostep down unit and neuro floor.
Experienced required.
