Job Description
Located just north of Milwaukee SPI is a leading designer and manufacturer of American made architectural and performance luminaires. We offer an incredibly clean work environment competitive payand the products are outstanding!
2nd Shift:Hours to be determined. Start time will most likely be after 3:00pm.
We are putting out these ads to see if there are experienced fabricators who want to work second shift. We realize this is a difficult shift to fill but please apply if you have experience in any of the below machines as well as you must be able to work 2nd shift.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Must be able to setupand operate at least one fabricating work center:
Press Brake
Punch Press
Machining Center
CNC Router
Welding
Metal Finish
Plastics
CNC Lathe
- Read job specifications interpret blueprints and other fabrication documents to determine machine settings and material requirements
- Use basic measuring tools and equipment
- Monitor inventory of onhand materials
- Accurately record set up and run times
- High attention to detail
- Must be safety conscious with good housekeeping practices
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Stand walk reach bend climb balance and use hands and fingers
- Operate equipment and hand tools
- Regularly lift and carry up to 50 pounds
