Job Description

Do you have a Masters Degree in the field of Mental Health Northwestern Counseling & Support Services Inc. (NCSS) is hiring for a SchoolBased Clinician to join our team! At NCSS SchoolBased Clinicians offer an array of services addressing a variety of mental health issues within public school settings in Franklin and Grand Isle Counties. Licensure supervision can be provided at no cost to you!Key Responsibilities: Diagnostic assessment Treatment planning Individualized therapeutic services Home/school coordination Crisis screenings/interventionCandidates must have: Strong experience working with children & families Excellent diagnostic skills The ability to work both collaboratively and independentlyThe SchoolBased Clinical Team serves as a referral conduit to connect students and their families to other NCSS Programs. The service model adjusts according to the needs of each participating school. This position is a fulltime 200day contract that follows the school schedule with some summer responsibilities. School placement is determined during the hiring process by NCSS to ensure a best fit for our clinician and the school NCSS we offer a comprehensive benefits package that includes perks such as medical and dental coverage an employermatched retirement plan 25 paid days off per year to start and educational support. Additionally for those who qualify this position provides an opportunity for $5000 in student loan forgiveness upon the successful completion of your 6month introductory period.
