Position Overview
The Course Designer serves Academic Services by assisting with the design development delivery and support for both the online and on campus courses in the university adopted Learning Management System.
Responsibilities
Complete online and on campus course preparation for the upcoming term in the university adopted Learning Management System.
Assist instructors in the design development and delivery of all online and on campus courses. (Assignments Discussions Tests Rubrics Lecture Capture Gradebooks etc.)
Communicates with students and faculty in a timely professional and courteous manner in response to phone calls emails tech support work orders and consultations.
Routinely update the technical support tracking system according to the technical support work orders you have handled.
Develop and maintain training and support resources for faculty and students.
Assist with special projects and events as needed.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Organizational Relationships
Within Academic Services the Course Designer reports to the Assistant Director of Faculty Development & Support.

Bachelors degree (College degree preferred)
