Position: Linen Distributor Grady Healthcare Facility
We are seeking a Linen Distributor to join our team at our Grady Location. This offsite role requires a confident quickthinking individual with excellent communication and customer service skills. If youre driven by results continuous improvement and reliabilitywe want to hear from you.
Key Responsibilities:
Transport clean linen in covered carts to designated hospital areas.
Collect soiled linen and return it in covered carts to designated processing areas.
Verify linen quantities for delivery and restocking.
Conduct routine linen inventory checks.
Address and resolve client concerns promptly and professionally.
Communicate effectively with supervisors about service issues or linen quality concerns.
Build and maintain strong client relationships through excellent customer support.
Uphold all quality safety and cleanliness standards.
Operate equipment and assist with departmental duties as needed.
Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
Perform general clerical tasks (e.g. answering phones data entry).
Comply with institutional procedures and Joint Commission standards.
Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
High School diploma or GED required.
12 years of experience in healthcare manufacturing or a similar industry preferred.
Strong customer service and interpersonal communication skills.
Positive teamoriented attitude with the ability to take initiative.
Able to thrive in a fastpaced environment.
Physically capable of:
Standing walking bending twisting and reaching for extended periods.
Lifting up to 35 pounds.
Pushing/pulling carts weighing up to 250 pounds.
Willingness to work flexible hours including evenings nights weekends and holidays.
Comfortable with giving and receiving feedback.
Basic computer literacy and a willingness to learn new systems.
