A warm and busy family in Rumson New Jersey is seeking a meticulous experienced and dogloving fulltime Housekeeper to help maintain their beautiful 9000 sq. ft. home. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a household that values professionalism attention to detail and a positive attitude.
Key Responsibilities:
- Household Cleaning: Maintain a spotless home by cleaning and organizing all rooms to the highest standard.
- Laundry and Ironing: Handle laundry with care ensuring all items are cleaned per their specific care instructions and labels. Iron clothing and linens to perfection.
- Dish Care: Expertly wash and handle dishes to maintain their quality and appearance.
- Errands: Manage household errands including dropping off dry cleaning and taking cars for cleaning.
- Event Support: Be flexible and available for occasional dinner parties or weekend events with extra pay for additional hours.
Household Details:
- Family Composition: Three children (ages 9 16 and 19). The eldest is away at college and the 16 yo is in the home parttime.
- Pets: Four beloved dogs (2 English Golden Retrievers and 2Labradors). While the family loves their pets a daily dog walker takes care of their exercise and outdoor needs.
Position Details:
- Schedule: Monday Friday 9am 5pm with flexibility for occasional evening events or weekend parties.
- Start Date: January 2025.
- Compensation: $35$38/hour commensurate with experience.
- Additional Info: No cooking is required for this role though there may be opportunities in the future.
Ideal Candidate:
- Has extensive housekeeping experience in large homes.
- Is comfortable working in a household with children and dogs.
- Has a strong eye for detail and the ability to follow specific care instructions particularly for laundry.
- Can manage responsibilities independently and efficiently.
- Is professional proactive and flexible with scheduling needs.
