BASIC FUNCTION:
TheIrrigation Control Systems Specialistassists in the development and implementation of the centrally controlled computerized irrigation control system and operates monitors adjusts and maintains the system; support and participate in related functions of the district energy/utilities management program.
POSITION SPECIFICS:- Working Location is based out of Physical Plant Operations 4860 Ruffner Street San Diego CA 92111
- Scheduled for 40 hours per week 12 months per year

This is a promotional/open opportunitywhich means that current monthly salaried employees receive precedence over other candidates on the eligible list.

Minimum Qualifications
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
Any combination of training experience and/or education equivalent to graduation from a recognized two year college with a major in Horticulture Landscape Management or other closely related fields and three years of recent fulltime paid experience in the horticulture and/or irrigation field including managing a computerized irrigation control system.Supplemental Information
