Job Description

Were an awardwinning IT solutions provider to the Federal government seeking a Senior Project Manager for Customer Engagement to join our team.
U.S. citizenship is required for this role. In addition the selected applicant must submit to a government background investigation and be favorably adjudicated before their first day.
This hybrid position requires 23 days of work onsite weekly. The selected applicant must live within commuting distance of Washington D.C.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Oversee all aspects of the project leading a team on large projects or a significant segment of large and complex projects
- Analyze new and complex projectrelated problems and create innovative solutions that normally involve the schedule technology methodology tools solution components and financial management of the project
- Provide application systems analysis and long and shortrange plans for application selection systems development systems maintenance and production activities for necessary support resources
REQUIRED SKILLS:
- A minimum of 8 years of experience in IT project management
- Must possess two (2) years of task leader experience managing a group of engineers and the full ADP life cycle in software engineering
- Outstanding organizational management and communication skills
- Excellent time management and ability to juggle multiple tasks under strict deadlines
- Strong analytical and systems thinking skill set; ability to apply technical solutions to broad complex problems
- Ability to talk to clients about technology solutions with the understanding that clients are not themselves technologists with the political savvy to know how to frame and communicate issues
- Experience building relationships with project management project team members Stakeholders and Users
PREFERRED SKILLS:
- Current PMP certification
EDUCATION:
- Bachelors degree in Information Systems Computer Engineering Computer Science or a related discipline
- Masters degree preferred

Internal title/grade: Project Manager L2
Salary Range: $125000 $160000
All individuals being hired to work for TCG must submit to and successfully pass a preemployment background investigation prior to reporting for their first day of work. The preemployment background investigation will include verification of employment and education as well as a criminal and DMV check.
Additional documentation and background checks will also be required for positions that require clearance from the Federal government.
