Opportunity:
Saint Lukes Hospital in Kansas City MO is seeking an Inpatient Pharmacy Tech to join our team. Under the direct supervision of a pharmacist performs all accountabilities associated with compounding preparing distributing and charging of medications. Assist in the filling and delivery of medication orders maintaining automated dispensing cabinet stock and assist with various duties as assigned.
Pick fill and deliver medication orders and Omnicell stock to appropriate locations
Prepack drugs and compound medications including sterile products chemotherapy and special dosage forms (topicals oral liquids etc.)
Assist with maintaining stock supplies in pharmacy department as needed
Answer the phone/ front window and assist with questions and requests
Attend all department and technician meetings
Certified Pharmacy Technician required within 18 months of hire.
Shift: Full time Days
600am 2:30pm Mon Friday with a weekend/holiday rotation.
