Montgomery County Public Schools is seeking a parttime Summer Technology Worker to work in the MCPS Technology Department.
This temporary position is anticipated to begin on or around May 27 2025 and end on or around August 12 2025.
JOB DESCRIPTION:
The parttime Technology Worker will perform routine maintenance on all computer equipment including but not limited to Chromebooks tablets desktop workstations interactive displays and AV equipment.
Daily responsibilities include but are not limited to labeling cleaning updating devices unboxing removing equipment and preparing equipment for disposal. The employee is expected to undertake any other general tasks as directed.
Candidates must have a solid understanding of the daytoday operations within a large Technology Department. This includes delivering excellent customer service working effectively as part of a team independently troubleshooting technical issues and navigating the general workflows and responsibilities typical of a dynamic tech environment.
Work schedule will be ten (10) hours/day Monday through Thursday during the time period of May 27 2025 through August 12 2025.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Hourly Rate: $15.00 $35.85 (depending on work experience with Montgomery County Public Schools)
FLSA: Nonexempt
