Job Description
- 4 month temporary employment.
- Provide firstline technical support to employees via phone email or inperson regarding hardware software and network issues.
- Diagnose and resolve technical issues related to computer hardware software printers and network connectivity.
- Install configure and upgrade computer hardware and software as required.
- Troubleshoot software and hardware errors including desktops laptops and mobile devices.
- Escalate complex issues to the appropriate IT support teams for resolution.
- Set up new users accounts and profiles and assist with password issues.
- Maintain documentation of IT processes procedures and troubleshooting guides.
- Ensure security and privacy of IT systems and networks.
- Test new technology and assist with the development of IT projects as needed.
Qualifications :
- Proven experience as an IT Help Desk Specialist or similar role.
- Excellent knowledge of computer hardware software and networking systems.
- Handson experience with Windows/Mac OS environments.
- Good understanding of computer systems mobile devices and other tech products.
- Ability to diagnose and resolve basic technical issues.
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
- Customeroriented and patient with good problemsolving abilities.
Nice to have:
- BSc/BA in IT Computer Science or relevant field; additional certifications (e.g. CompTIA A Microsoft Certified IT Professional) are a plus.
- AD is a plus.
