Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Intervention Specialist to join our high school team. This educator will provide specialized instruction to students with disabilities in grades 912. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of diverse learning needs and demonstrate the ability to implement individualized instructional strategies that promote academic behavioral and socialemotional Responsibilities:Deliver instruction aligned with Ohio Learning Standards and students Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).Develop and implement differentiated lesson plans that address a range of academic and functional skill and maintain a structured supportive classroom environment that promotes student independence and ongoing assessments to monitor student progress and adjust instruction with general education teachers related service providers and paraprofessionals to ensure consistent implementation of IEP goals and IEP meetings write IEPs and complete all required documentation in compliance with federal state and district direct instruction in reading mathematics written language behavior regulation and social behavior intervention plans (BIPs) and support positive behavioral interventions and supports (PBIS).Maintain regular communication with parents/guardians to share progress and build strong homeschool :Valid Ohio Department of Education Intervention Specialist license (Mild/Moderate or Moderate/Intensive; Middle Childhood preferred).Bachelors degree in Special Education or a related field (Masters preferred).Knowledge of IEP development progress monitoring and datadriven with evidencebased instructional strategies and assistive classroom management and organizational to work collaboratively with staff students and Skills:Knowledge of Ohios Operating Standards for the Education of Children with understanding of traumainformed practices and socialemotional learning (SEL).Working Conditions:Fulltime salaried position with benefits (as determined by district contract).Follows the school calendar including professional development Apply:Submit your resume cover letter copy of licensure and three professional references to:
