Job Description
We are seeking a (CT Technologist) for a 13weeks travel/contract assignment in Winchester MA 01890.
- Duration: 13 Weeks Contract
- Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours per week
- Weekly Pay Rate: $2920 $3200
Shift & Schedule:
4x10hour shifts Rotating
- Week 1: Sunday 1:00 PM 11:30 PM Tuesday Thursday 7:00 AM 5:30 PM
- Week 2: Monday Wednesday Thursday Friday 7:00 AM 5:30 PM
Responsibilities:
- Perform CT procedures as ordered by physicians following department protocols and safety guidelines.
- Operate CT scanner and associated equipment effectively.
- Position patients properly and monitor during the scan for safety and quality of imaging.
- Review and verify physicians orders and patient identification before procedures.
- Communicate clearly with patients to explain procedures and address concerns.
- Ensure all images meet quality standards for diagnosis.
- Document procedures and complete required paperwork accurately and timely.
- Assist in emergency situations and be adaptable to trauma cases.
- Maintain cleanliness and readiness of the work area and equipment.
- Follow infection control and radiation safety guidelines.
Requirements:
- Graduate of a twoyear AMAaccredited School of Radiologic Technology.
- Registered by the ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists).
- Massachusetts Radiologic Technologist License (current and valid).
- BLS Certification (from AHA or equivalent).
- Minimum 1 year of CT Tech experience preferably in a trauma or highvolume hospital setting.
- Proficiency in scanning in a highvolume trauma environment is essential.
- Strong interpersonal communication and organizational skills.
