Job Description
Location: Norfolk VA 23502
Weekly Pay: $1512 - $1620
Duration: 13 Weeks Contract
Schedule: 6:30 PM - 7:00 AM
Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week
Responsibilities:
- Assess and evaluate patients with breathing or cardiopulmonary disorders.
- Develop and implement respiratory care plans based on patient assessments.
- Administer treatments and therapies such as oxygen therapy nebulization and chest physiotherapy.
- Monitor and adjust ventilator settings for patients requiring mechanical ventilation.
- Educate patients and their families on respiratory conditions and self-care techniques.
Requirements:
- Bachelors or Associates degree in Respiratory Therapy.
- State licensure or certification as a Respiratory Therapist (RRT or CRT).
- Experience: Minimum of 1 2 years of clinical experience as a Respiratory Therapist.
- Strong knowledge of respiratory medications equipment and therapies.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and in emergency situations.
Travel & Local Considerations:
- Candidates residing 50 miles from the facility are eligible for travel pay.
