Serco is seeking a Systems Engineer to join our dynamic team supporting the Global Battle and Mission Readiness Division at our Orlando FL location. This opportunity offers the chance to work within a pioneering team that thrives on innovation and is committed to advancing defense technology and engineering for the future.
In this role you will:
- Perform technical planning system integration verification and validation cost and risk analyses and supportability and effectiveness analyses for total systems.
- Conduct analyses at all levels of total system products including concept design fabrication test installation operation maintenance and disposal.
- Ensure the logical and systematic conversion of customer or product requirements into total systems solutions that acknowledge technical schedule and cost constraints.
- Perform functional analysis timeline analysis detailed trade studies requirements allocation and interface definition studies to translate customer requirements into hardware and software specifications.
Qualifications
Qualifications
- Must be completing or have completed a Bachelors degree from an accredited institution.
- Must be majoring in or have majored in a STEM (Science Technology Engineering or Math) degree.
- Must be able to obtain a U.S. Government security clearance (U.S. citizenship is a prerequisite).
To be successful in this role you will have:
- Strong problemsolving and analytical skills.
- Ability to integrate complex systems and translate requirements into functional designs.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- A proactive attitude and the ability to work effectively under minimal supervision.
Additional desired experience and skills:
- Overall cumulative GPA of 3.0/4.0 or higher.
