Responsibilities
As an intern at Berkley Healthcare youll gain realworld experience in underwriting operations. Youll work closely with experienced professionals and contribute to meaningful projects that support our business goals.
Key functions include but are not limited to the following:
- Assist with entering and clearing underwriting submissions in internal systems.
- Support policy preparation and documentation process.
- Help create and document standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- Assist with agency licensing process.
- Participate in team meetings and brainstorming sessions to contribute fresh ideas and perspectives.
Qualifications
- Currently enrolled and pursuing a fouryear degree in business Risk Management Insurance Economics or a related field.
- Strong analytical and research skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication.
- Curiosity initiative and a collaborative spirit.
- Interest in the insurance industry and innovation.
- Familiarity with AI tools or technologies is a plus.

Additional Company Details
Hourly rate ranges from $16$20/hr
The actual salary for this position will be determined by a number of factors including the scope complexity and location of the role; the skills education training credentials and experience of the candidate; and other conditions of employment.
