Collins Aerospace an RTX businessis seeking an onsite currently seeking a Whole Life Sustainment Support Engineer supporting programs onsite in El Segundo CA to act as Lab Coordinator for Production Sustainment and Software. The Whole Life Engineer will interface with other engineering disciplines engineering leadership and government customers. As Lab Repair Coordinator you will lead repair & shipment of electronic products; aids in the planning and makes sure repair on schedule; ensure Lab is in a readystate ordering supplies as needed; and report on status/generates paperwork required by customer.
Trusted Mission Processing (TMP) provides embedded processing solutions for rugged realtime applications. The TMP Whole Life Engineering (WLE) team is made up of several disciplines whose main objective is to influence hardware and systems early in their life cycle to ensure effective operation reliability maintainability testability and economical ownership by the customer and end user.
What You Will Do
- You will be the lead coordinator providing detailed depot repair status of customer returned material.
- You will work closely with external customers program management operations production control quality and engineering teams to achieve successful program results.
Qualifications You Must Have
- Ability to take an analytical approach and utilize technical knowledge to solve challenges with optimal solutions
- Strong and detailed organization problem solving time management and communications skills
- Ability to communicate effectively with program management and functional leads solve routine and sometimes complex problems with limited supervisory direction take initiative to complete tasks with minimal oversight and work independently.
- Typically requires a degree in Science Technology Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and minimum 2 years of prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field or in absence of a degree 6 years of relevant experience.
- Active and transferable Secret U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start date with the ability to obtain Top Secret after start date. U.S. citizenship is required as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
Qualifications We Prefer
- Familiarity with F22 CIP products.
- Proficient with Microsoft work products including Access and OneNote.
- Strong interpersonal & communication skills both verbal & written.

The salary range for this role is 72000 USD 144000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
