As a leader within the Space Management Section of the Division of Real Estate Services (DORES) this role is responsible for independently directing and supervising largescale space planning furniture and relocation projects. You will lead a team providing strategic guidance mentorship and performance management while establishing and implementing operational procedures to ensure efficient and effective service delivery. By setting clear priorities and driving continuous improvement you will oversee the optimization of space utilization across the Commonwealths real estate portfolio.
This role involves developing and maintaining comprehensive policies guidelines and best practices for space planning as well as collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to align strategies with overarching organizational goals. As a supervisor you will recruit develop and manage staff fostering a culture of high performance accountability and ongoing professional development. You will also play a pivotal role in streamlining processes to drive greater efficiency and effectiveness in space management operations.
In addition to these leadership responsibilities you will serve as a subject matter expert in space planning project management and the use of key technology tools such as TRIRIGA (real estate portfolio management system) drafting software and other industry specific tools. Your expertise will be crucial in monitoring project progress optimizing space utilization and ensuring efficient execution of space planning and relocation projects. You will collaborate closely with internal and external stakeholdersincluding architects engineers and professionals from the building and construction industryto meet both functional and regulatory requirements. You will also ensure compliance with relevant codes and regulations provide training on space management processes and support budgetary planning.Interested in learning more Additional details regarding this position can be found in theposition description.
Work Schedule and Additional Information:
- Fulltime employment
- Work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM Monday Friday with 30minute lunch.
- Telework:You may have the opportunity to work from home (telework) parttime one day per week at headquarters in Harrisburg (subject to change at management discretion). Candidate must also be able to travel to Harrisburg or other locations around the state to conduct site visits or attend in person meeting as required to perform job duties and meet operational needs. In order to telework you must have a securely configured highspeed internet connection and work from an approved location inside Pennsylvania. If you are unable to telework you will have the option to report to the headquarters office in Harrisburg.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY
QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:
- One year as an Administrative Officer 3 (Commonwealth job title or equivalent Federal Government job title as determined by the Office of Administration); or
- Six years of experience in progressively responsible and varied office management or staff work including experience in personnel management budgeting or procurement; and such training as may have been gained through graduation from a fouryear college or university; or
- Any equivalent combination of experience and training.
Additional Requirements:
- You must possess a valid Class C drivers license.
- You must have leadership supervisory or managerial experience.
- You must have project management experience.
- You must have experience reading and interpreting construction drawings and using drafting software.
- You must be able to perform essential job functions.
