As a leader within the Space Management Section of the Division of Real Estate Services (DORES) this role is responsible for independently directing and supervising largescale space planning furniture and relocation projects. You will lead a team providing strategic guidance mentorship and performance management while establishing and implementing operational procedures to ensure efficient and effective service delivery. By setting clear priorities and driving continuous improvement you will oversee the optimization of space utilization across the Commonwealths real estate portfolio.
This role involves developing and maintaining comprehensive policies guidelines and best practices for space planning as well as collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to align strategies with overarching organizational goals. As a supervisor you will recruit develop and manage staff fostering a culture of high performance accountability and ongoing professional development. You will also play a pivotal role in streamlining processes to drive greater efficiency and effectiveness in space management operations.
In addition to these leadership responsibilities you will serve as a subject matter expert in space planning project management and the use of key technology tools such as TRIRIGA (real estate portfolio management system) drafting software and other industry specific tools. Your expertise will be crucial in monitoring project progress optimizing space utilization and ensuring efficient execution of space planning and relocation projects. You will collaborate closely with internal and external stakeholdersincluding architects engineers and professionals from the building and construction industryto meet both functional and regulatory requirements. You will also ensure compliance with relevant codes and regulations provide training on space management processes and support budgetary planning.
