Software Engineer II

As a Software Engineer II youll develop software for our Alegeus administrative and engagement product contributing as a key member of our development team focused on an Enterprise Software as a Service (SaaS) platform. Create program logic for new applications and refine logic in existing ones through thorough analysis and modification.
Code test debug document implement and uphold software applications.
Analyze business requirements and transform them into cuttingedge product designs.
Design develop and sustain applications and tools leveraging .NET technologies.
Ensure adherence to secure coding practices and coding conventions.
ESSENTIAL SKILLS FOR CREATING A LASTING IMPACT
Alegeus colleagues are known as problemsolvers risktakers and innovative thinkers. As a Software Engineer II these skills are essential for success:
Abilities: Ability to work with .NET or other objectoriented programming languages like Java. Ability to utilize SQL Server or other relational databases. Ability to engage in web development. Ability to automate unit testing.
Required Experience: 24 years work experience in engineering or related fields. Experience participating in agile/scrum environments. Awareness of DevOps principles infrastructure as code and environment management.
Preferred Experience: Exposure to message queues (e.g. RabbitMQ Azure Service Bus Kafka) and asynchronous processing patterns. Familiarity with eventdriven architecture concepts and use cases.Experience with REST APIs.Basic understanding of cloud services (Azure AWS or GCP) and deployment pipelines (CI/CD).Exposure to monitoring/logging tools like Application Insights ELK or similar.
Education: Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Systems or other related discipline or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Location: Hybrid(75% remote 25% in office) for our Boston MA; Maitland FL; or Milwaukee WI locations
