The successful candidate will directly manage multiple UX researchers across the Digital Banking Experiences portfolio in Canada/US in evolving our current state and nextgeneration experiences. They will lead strategic UX Research roadmap planning through collaborative workshops & rituals with Design Product & Technology partners ensuring UXR team efforts are focused on most critical research areas. They will create a culture of openness; proactively seeks out and acts on feedback from team; encourages challenging and honest conversations work closely with peers and encourages crossteam collaborations to continue to evolve the UX Research craft within BMO Digital

Understands how new consumer and business customers approach search evaluation and selection of a banking solution. Strategically negotiates design solutions in relation to business goals. Helps organizations through a better understanding of the customer use preferences and needs by analyzing Voice of the Customer. Designs and facilitates research programsanalyzes data to deliver unique insights. Connects research questions and insights that bring out intuitive designs and support strategy and product development. Collaborates with Design Marketing Product and Technology stakeholders both inside and outside of the team.

  • Defines and executes a comprehensive research plan.
  • Identifies best method or mix of quantitative and qualitative methods based on priorities research questions timeline and resourcing.
  • Collects and analyzes user behavior through lab studies field visits ethnography surveys benchmark studies server logs and online experiments.
  • Identifies and incorporates complex technical and business requirements into research and helps advocate research findings to diverse audiences through written reports and inperson presentations.
  • Develops budgets and timelines for research projects.
  • Presents findings to designers developers and other stakeholders and concludes on the action plan.
  • Fosters a culture aligned to BMO purpose values and strategy and role models BMO values and behaviours in all that they do.
  • Ensures alignment between values and behaviour that fosters diversity and inclusion.
  • Regularly connects work to BMOs purpose sets inspirational goals defines clear expected outcomes and ensures clear accountability for follow through.
  • Builds interdependent teams that collaborate across functional and operating groups to create the highest value for all stakeholders.

Salary:

$120000.00 $222600.00

Pay Type:

Salaried

The above represents BMO Financial Groups pay range and type.

Salaries will vary based on factors such as location skills experience education and qualifications for the role and may include a commission structure. Salaries for parttime roles will be prorated based on number of hours regularly worked. For commission roles the salary listed above represents BMO Financial Groups expected target for the first year in this position.

BMO Financial Groups total compensation package will vary based on the pay type of the position and may include performancebased incentives discretionary bonuses as well as other perks and rewards.
