Job Description

STV is seeking a Signals Manager to join our Systems and Security department at our New York City NY and Philadelphia PA offices.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the Signals Engineering team responsible for signal design integration and system implementation across multiple transit and rail projects.

  • Oversee the development and delivery of signal engineering solutions ensuring technical excellence quality and compliance with client and industry standards.

  • Coordinate across departments and disciplines to support seamless systems integration with communications SCADA and civil infrastructure.

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients on signalrelated scopes providing strategic guidance and technical oversight.

  • Mentor and develop junior and midlevel signal and systems engineering staff supporting professional growth and knowledge transfer.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering Systems Engineering or a related field; PE license preferred.

  • 25 years of experience in signal engineering for rail or transit projects including team leadership and project delivery.

  • Deep understanding of signal system design operations and regulatory standards such as AREMA FRA and local agency criteria.

  • Proven ability to manage multidisciplinary engineering teams and collaborate across all phases of project development.

  • Strong clientfacing communication skills and experience managing stakeholder expectations and technical negotiations.

Compensation Range:

$128289.89 $171053.19
