Job Description
STV is seeking a Signals Manager to join our Systems and Security department at our New York City NY and Philadelphia PA offices.
Responsibilities:
Lead and manage the Signals Engineering team responsible for signal design integration and system implementation across multiple transit and rail projects.
Oversee the development and delivery of signal engineering solutions ensuring technical excellence quality and compliance with client and industry standards.
Coordinate across departments and disciplines to support seamless systems integration with communications SCADA and civil infrastructure.
Serve as the primary point of contact for clients on signalrelated scopes providing strategic guidance and technical oversight.
Mentor and develop junior and midlevel signal and systems engineering staff supporting professional growth and knowledge transfer.
Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering Systems Engineering or a related field; PE license preferred.
25 years of experience in signal engineering for rail or transit projects including team leadership and project delivery.
Deep understanding of signal system design operations and regulatory standards such as AREMA FRA and local agency criteria.
Proven ability to manage multidisciplinary engineering teams and collaborate across all phases of project development.
Strong clientfacing communication skills and experience managing stakeholder expectations and technical negotiations.

Compensation Range:
