POSITION OVERVIEW
This position is for highly organized and customercentric individuals who have a passion for delivering outstanding results. Previous handyman experience is an asset but not required basic construction skills are necessary. This is a great opportunity to develop alongside a fast growing company.
House Doctors is a professional handyman and home improvement service company specializing in both large and small jobs in the Houston Katy Fulshear area. We are looking for energetic and friendly people who enjoy working on various home improvement and maintenance projects such as repairs flooring drywall carpentry painting.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Completing handyman and home improvement projects such as Carpentry work Bathroom improvements Kitchen improvements Painting both inside and out Drywall work minor and major repairs General plumbing and electrical where allowed by law Floor installation and refurbishing
- Organizing and managing the equipment required to complete daily tasks
- Working with clients to provide exceptional customer service
- Representing House Doctors in the local community and networking with potential customers as needs arise
SKILLS AND REQUIREMENTS:
- 6 years of labor or customer service experience
- Handson with a knowledge of the principles techniques equipment and supplies used in the handyman industry
- Ability to learn and operate basic computer programs and systems
- Friendly personality and committed to great customer service
- A strong work ethic and highly dependable
- Able to perform physical labor work including bending lifting (50 lbs) and handling tools
- Own your tools
- Be insurable for driving
- Complete a background and driving record check
- Able to lift 50 pounds independently
- Able to safely work at heights and work overhead for extended periods
- Professional appearance
- Valid drivers license
