Job Description
The Retail Sales Associate delivers worldclass customer service to all retail customers by receiving and processing packages for courier shipment and operating copiers fax machines binding equipment laminating machines and pointofsale devices. The associate advises our valued clients by providing accurate information on our products services and bestvalue options and exhibits excellent customer care! The ideal candidate must be able to lift 50 pounds when needed.
The Ideal Candidate has previous retail experience continued work history strong computer and internet skills a high school diploma or GED a friendly and genuinely helpful attitude and a professional appearance.
What Youll Do:
- Greet customers warmly and determine their needs.
- Provide accurate information about UPS products and services including shipping printing mailbox rentals and other offerings.
- Efficiently process customer transactions using our pointofsale system.
- Carefully package items for shipment according to UPS guidelines.
- Operate and maintain store equipment such as copiers printers and binding machines.
- Sort and distribute mail and packages accurately.
- Maintain a clean organized and presentable store environment.
- Assist with inventory management and restocking of supplies.
- Answer phone calls professionally and handle customer inquiries.
- Work collaboratively with the store team to achieve goals.
- Other duties and tasks as assigned.
What Were Looking For:
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- A friendly and outgoing personality with a passion for customer service.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fastpaced environment.
- Basic computer skills and comfort using pointofsale systems.
- Reliability and a strong work ethic.
- Ability to lift packages up to 50 lbs occasionally.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous retail or customer service experience is required were willing to train the right candidate!
- Availability to work 1520 hours per week including evenings and weekends is required.

The UPS Store in Edmond OK is here to help individuals and small businesses by offering a wide range of products and services. We are locally owned and operated and conveniently located at 2011 W. Danforth Rd Edmond OK 73003. Our store hours are MF 8 am6:30 pm; Saturday 10 am4 pm; and Sunday 10 am 3 pm. We do not offer any health insurance retirement plans or PTO/ sick pay for this position.
