What youll do:

As a Dental Assistant you will workto enhance the daily operations of the clinic by providing excellent care and communication to our patients. As aDental Assistant you will:

  • Prepares sterilizes disinfects and maintains dental equipment instruments and supplies
  • Collects and records patient health histories take impressions and xrays
  • Ensures patient comfort during dental procedures
  • Prepares dental materials (cements amalgam composite impression materials etc.)
  • Completes charting of treatment information in the patients dental notes from the doctor as directed
  • Assist doctor in management of medical and dental emergencies
  • Cleans/polishes removable devices; fabricate temporary restorations custom trays study models
  • Delivers postoperative and general oral care instructions to patient
  • Maintains infection control procedures patient privacy and professional interactions with patients and staff
  • Assist administrative team with customer service functions
  • Present treatment plans to patients

Education and Experience:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Completion of an accredited Dental Assisting Program or dental assistant experience preferred
  • Previous customer service or office experience
  • Proficiency or the ability to become proficient within 90 days indental terminology and dental software for charting treatment planning clinical notes etc.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Foster a positive attitude and be a team player

Hours:

Monday through Thursday 7:30am to 5:00pm
