DevOps Engineer

We are seeking our new DevOps Engineer to join the Axway team!

The Axway Cloud Engineering team is a group of subject matter experts within R&D that tightly collaborates with Product Development (R&D) and Cloud Operations teams with three key focus areas: Infrastructure Developer Experience and Observability. This involves strong technology background for Kubernetes on AWS and Azure extensive usage of centralized source and configuration management and dedication to selfserve automation.

In this role you will be a part of the DevEx group of Cloud Engineering delivering solutions to both Cloud Operations and R&D teams across the company to improve the overall developer experience. You will be exposed to a full software delivery lifecycle process involving tools such as Gitlab Kubernetes and a variety of AWS and Azure services. You will also have at your disposal a huge library of Terraform templates that our team has created throughout the years covering a myriad of business cases.

• Build maintain and ensure reliability of automation pipelines for our continuous deployment solution used by multiple teams
• Document and handover robust automated solutions to our R&D and Cloud Operations team
• Build and maintain CI/CD service to maximize uptime for R&D environments and respond to incidents promptly.
• Demonstrate a proactive approach to personal and professional development staying current with industry trends tools and best practices in DevOps cloud computing and automation.

Ideally you would have a mixture of the following:

• Working experience administering Linux systems onprem and in the cloud (2 years)
• AWS and/or Azure knowledge and experience (2 years)
• Proficiency in setting up managing and maintaining Gitlab CICD pipelines (2 years)
• Working with Terraform for provisioning and maintaining infrastructure (IaC) (1 years)
• Working knowledge of Containerization technologies like Docker and orchestration platforms like Kubernetes (1 years)
• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues quickly in a live environment demonstrating critical thinking and adaptability (1 years)
• Experience working in an Agile development environment is strongly desired
