This program is funded by the Dropout Prevention Act of 1986. The main
objective is to keep students ontrack for graduation and prevent them from
dropping out of school.

JOB SUMMARY
Responsible for assisting the Exceptional Student Education (ESE) teacher(s) in providing a wellorganized smoothly functioning educational environment in which students with cognitive physical communication and emotional disabilities can take full advantage of the instructional program and available resources under the direct supervision of a Highly Qualified Teacher.
REQUIRED EDUCATION TRAINING & EXPERIENCE
- Instructional Assistants (ESOL/Bilingual) must be bilingual and biliterate in English and the language represented by at least 15 students of the same language background.
- Associate Degree completion of 60 semester hours of college or passing score of 457 on theParaPro Test
