Job Description
Job Title: Data Engineer
Employment Type: FullTime (100%)
Compensation: $65/hour
Location: Remote
Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Data Engineer to join our team and support our data infrastructure and analytics needs. The ideal candidate will have experience working with AWS Databricks SQL and Alteryx and will be responsible for building and maintaining scalable data pipelines enabling efficient data access and ensuring data quality and integrity.
Key Responsibilities:
Design develop and maintain robust data pipelines and ETL processes.
Work with largescale data processing tools such as Databricks and Alteryx.
Manage cloudbased infrastructure on AWS including S3 Glue and Lambda.
Write and optimize SQL queries to support data analysis and reporting.
Collaborate with data analysts scientists and other stakeholders to ensure seamless data integration and availability.
Ensure data quality governance and security best practices are followed.
Required Skills:
Proven experience with AWS services (S3 Glue EC2 etc.)
Handson experience with Databricks and Alteryx.
Strong proficiency in SQL.
Solid understanding of data warehousing concepts and ETL frameworks.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with Python or Spark for data processing.
Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.
Prior experience in financial services or a highly regulated environment.
