The Senior 3rd Shift Security Patrol Supervisor will oversee and execute the daily 3rd shift patrol operations while leading the parttime employees within the 3rd shift security group to provide for the safety and security of all guests employees and physical assets of Hershey Entertainment and Resorts.

Job Duties (Duties marked with an asterisk are essential functions of this job):

  • Conduct security patrols and courier transports throughout the Company and respond to and provide aid in emergency situations.*

  • Supervise and oversee a team of 3rd Shift Security team members. Ensure each area has proper staffing and that all team members have proper training and documentation for each shift.*

  • Initiate emergency response measures by means of responding and reacting to unsafe conditions and emergency situations. Manage deployment of security personnel and equipment to provide effective and efficient operations during incidents.*

  • Assess investigate resolve and contain situations while taking appropriate actions based upon Company policy and procedures as well as training.*

  • Monitor team member and guest activity while ensuring that all Company policies and procedures are being followed.*

  • Create timely thorough and accurate incident reports in an incident tracking system.*

  • Communicate regularly with Security Management regarding operational issues including team member or guest concerns losses and unusual situations and establish and maintain a good working relationship with other departments and support teams.*

  • Provide recognition and appreciation to team members.*

  • Perform and complete assigned tasks from management as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 2 years of related experience.

  • Industry Experience Safety & Security Amusement Park

  • 18 years of age or older.

  • Completion of high school or GED

  • PostEmployment First Aid / CPR / AED PA Special Fire Police RAMP Training OCAT / PATH Verbal Judo

  • Must have a valid Drivers License

  • In accordance with Pennsylvanias Child Protective Services Law candidates must be able to obtain and maintain a report of criminal history from the Pennsylvania State Police (PSP) Child Abuse History Clearance from the Department of Human Services (Child Abuse) and Fingerprintbased federal criminal history submitted through the Pennsylvania State Police or its authorized agent (FBI) as a condition of continued employment.

Knowledge Skills and Abilities:

  • Skilled in the use of Microsoft Office applications including Excel and Word.

  • Must be able to speak and read the English language.

  • The position is subject to atmospheric conditions. One or more of the following conditions that affect the respiratory system of the skin: fumes odors dust mists gases or poor ventilation.

  • The position is subject to noise. There is sufficient noise to cause the worker to shout in order to be heard above ambient noise level.

  • The position is subject to both environmental conditions. Activities occur inside and outside.

  • The position is subject to outside environmental conditions. No effective protection from the weather.
