Job Description
We are excited to announce we are seeking a Health Information Technology Specialist on behalf of a partnership with our Client and IQVIA.
Health Information Technology Specialist
Qualifications:
- 4year Bachelors degree from an accredited University required
- Minimum of 4 years working for health care technology company (Epic Cerner Medi tech etc.) and/or within a Health System informatics group or team at leadership level or similar role within a pharmaceutical company
- In depth knowledge of healthcare and health information technology and data mining techniques
- Minimum 3 years relevant therapeutic area experience preferred
- Current nursing license or Pharmacy Degree in good standing and/or a demonstrated thorough knowledge of the therapeutic area and understanding of Workflows required
- Ability to act with a sense of accountability and urgency
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Proven ability to effectively and efficiently work within a matrix organization
- Demonstrated ability to incorporate knowledge of the market and competitive landscape into executable plans
- Demonstrated initiative and ability to work independently and efficiently is required.
- May be asked to attend clinically relevant meetings for personal/professional development
- Attends Plan of Action meetings with the customer as requested
- Excellent presentation skills
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Enthusiastic positive attitude flexibility
- Ability to consistently travel overnight
Professional Responsibilities
- Provides relevant information to the customer and field manager/Project Leader in the form of business plan
- Stays current in clinical developments related to specific disease state and IT
- Develops and maintains advanced presentation skills to facilitate dissemination of clinical information
- Checks voice mail and email daily as directed
- Documents all calls customer profile information daily as directed
Additional Responsibilities
- Provides educational support as identified to reinforce the projects strategic goals
- Promptly respond to internal/external communications.
- Completes all reports and written assignments in a timely accurate and thorough manner
- Maintains the highest level of professional standards in all calls with customers and other business contacts.
- Demonstrates sound judgment regarding utilization of time and financial resources such as travel and entertainment.
- Reads understands and adheres to important documents such as fraud and abuse guidelines FDA guidelines PhRMA code IQVIA SOPs and HIPAA guidelines and memos regarding policy and procedures.
Time Allocation
- Allocates time and prioritizes accounts in accordance to list of accounts in territory
- Spends approximately 35% of time in the field

The actual base pay offered may vary based on a number of factors including jobrelated qualifications such as knowledge skills education and experience; location; and/or schedule (full or parttime).
