Job Description:
As an Engineering Technician you will work in a dynamic fast paced production and R&D environment with a focus on quality and attention to detail. Required tasking includes the execution of product and subassembly acceptance testing using various techniques and types of support equipment.
In this role you will be a part of the Agile Development Group which is a division that specializes in developing disruptive nextgeneration technologies for advanced Unmanned Air Systems (UAS / UAV) advanced radar systems nextgeneration weapon systems and other RF sensor technologies using small company agility and big company experience.
Essential Functions:
- Performs all duties required to assist with the acceptance testing of various products and subassemblies. Tasks required may include:
- Run automated and manual test scripts for acceptance testing software/firmware loading and sensor calibration.
- Operate custom and offtheshelf equipment including network analyzers power meters spectrum analyzers oscilloscopes digital multimeters etc.
- Identify document and perform basic troubleshooting on nonconforming product.
- Recommends updates for existing processes and reviews test documentation in support of engineering.
- Verifies quality of tested product. Interprets test results to validate compliance with drawing and other specified requirements.
- Identifies and corrects conditions that affect employee safety; upholding corporate safety standards.
- Work in a team setting collaborating with manufacturing planning and engineering.
- Lifting pushing pulling and/or carrying 2550 pounds on a regular basis.
- Walking bending sitting standing climbing and reaching for prolonged periods of time on a regular basis.
- Ability to seize grasp turn hold and operate manufacturing tools and equipment.
- Willingness and ability to work in a manufacturing environment with regular exposure to moving mechanical parts dust fumes chemicals and loud noises.
- Willingness and ability to comply with all applicable PPE requirements (respirators safety glasses gloves etc).
Qualifications:.
- High school diploma or equivalent and a minimum of 4 years of prior relevant experience or 2 yrs post Secondary/Associates Degree or equivalent with a minimum of 02 years of prior relevant experience.
- Active DoD Secret clearance with current 5 year update.
Preferred Additional Skills:
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office products.
- Experience with C C# Python Java MATLAB LabVIEW or Test Stand.
