Job Description
Maintenance Technician
Location: Corpus Christi TX
Salary Range:$30 $35 per hour depending on experience
Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Maintenance Technician to ensure the efficient operation of industrial machinery and equipment. The ideal candidate will have expertise in diagnosing troubleshooting and repairing mechanical electrical pneumatic and hydraulic systems in a manufacturing environment along with performing facilities maintenance.
Key Responsibilities:
Equipment Maintenance and Repair:
Perform routine and preventive maintenance on machinery including conveyors pumps motors and other industrial equipment.
Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical electrical pneumatic and hydraulic issues.
Execute repairs and replacements of defective components such as motors gears valves and sensors.
System Troubleshooting:
Analyze and interpret technical manuals schematics and blueprints to identify issues and implement solutions.
Utilize diagnostic tools and equipment to resolve problems in electrical circuits hydraulic systems and pneumatic devices.
Installation and Calibration:
Install new machinery and equipment ensuring proper setup and calibration.
Adjust and finetune equipment settings to optimize performance.
Facility Maintenance:
Conduct facility and building maintenance including minor repairs.
Maintain a clean and safe work area ensuring compliance with health safety and quality standards.
Recordkeeping and Coordination:
Maintain accurate records of all inspections tests and repairs.
Coordinate and supervise outside contractors for mechanical and electrical repairs when needed.
Qualifications:
Education:
High school diploma or GED required; technical degree or certification in industrial maintenance electrical engineering or a related field preferred.
Experience:
35 years of experience in an industrial maintenance environment.
Expertise in pneumatics hydraulics and electrical systems.
Skills:
Strong knowledge of mechanical systems electrical circuits and control systems.
Proficiency in using hand tools power tools and diagnostic equipment.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical documentation.
Good communication problemsolving and teamwork skills.
Basic computer skills for data entry and reporting.
Physical Requirements:
Capable of lifting up to 50 lbs.
Comfortable with standing bending and working in various environmental conditions including noise heat and confined spaces.
Ability to operate material handling equipment (forklift sideloader etc.) with certification.
Salary and Benefits:
$30 $35 per hour
