Job Description
What Youll Do
Monitor and report on perennial crop inventory with accuracy and attention to detail
Coordinate crop transitions from production to saleready status
Prioritize daily and weekly pulling based on readiness and shipping schedules
Work with shipping staff to ensure highquality accurate perennial orders
Communicate crop availability quality and readiness with the sales team
Provide weekly photo updates of key plant varieties
Respond to inquiries about inventory and plant condition promptly
Collaborate with growing sales and shipping teams to streamline processes
Support plant audits and inventory mapping projects
Spend 70% of your time in the field 30% on administrative work
Additional Responsibilities
Promote and enforce safety best practices in perennial areas
Attend team meetings and daily huddles
Represent the Perennial Department in company initiatives (GGOB brand alignment)
Participate in at least 8 hours of training annually
What Youll Bring
Excellent attention to detail and organization
Strong communication and leadership skills
Familiarity with perennials or a willingness to learn quickly
Previous experience in plant inventory or horticulture preferred
Confidence using spreadsheets data entry systems and inventory tools
Ability to lift 50 lbs and work outdoors in changing weather
Valid insurable drivers license
High school diploma or equivalent (3 years of relevant experience preferred)
Working Conditions
Frequent walking standing bending and lifting
Exposure to outdoor weather: heat cold humidity
Occasionally working around dust and mechanical equipment
Moderate noise typical of nursery environments
