Job Description
On a fixedterm maternity cover basis we are recruiting for a Senior HR Advisor to work alongside the HR Manager and the rest of the HR team in providing comprehensive and professional HR advice and business partnering support to line managers.
In this role youll lead on supporting managers with employee relations issues promote compliance with employment legislation and support in the delivery of best practice people management across the business.
We have recently launched a brand new HRIS and have outsourced payroll management to a third party so supporting managers and employees with using new systems and ways of working will also be a key focus.
In the team youll be the nominal lead for learning and development activities and initiatives so experience and an interest in L&D would be an advantage.
As well as supporting line managers and the rest of the HR Team in areas such as absence management; policies; recruitment and other HR administration youll also have your own HR projects to manage that contribute to the ongoing delivery of a firstclass HR service to the whole business.
Qualifications :
In order to perform well in the role we would expect you to have;
- Good knowledge of employment law and practical experience of applying it
- Experience of policy development
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Excellent influencing skills
- Good written and verbal communications skills
- A great attention to detail
Ideally a candidate that is part or fully CIPD qualified would be advantageous
This is a fixedterm contract to cover maternity leave.
