Job Description
Marie Curie is committed to providing exceptional care and comfort to people living with terminal illness and their families. As part of this mission were looking for warm reliable and compassionate individuals to join us asRefreshment and Catering Assistant Volunteersat ourEdinburgh Hospice.
In this rewarding role youll help create a welcoming environment by supporting our catering team and ensuring patients receive nourishing meals and refreshments with kindness and dignity.
What youll be doing:
- Preparing and presenting the drinks trolley with care
- Serving meals and/or drinks to patients with friendliness and courtesy
- Topping up water jugs with fresh ice and water
- Collecting used trays and crockery and loading them into the dishwasher
- Keeping the ward kitchen family room and communal areas clean and tidy
- Assisting with other related tasks as needed
