is inviting applicants for:
High School Math & Science Teacherfor E.W. Pratt School
for theSchool Year
This is a fulltime positionfor the school year with the potential for continuation. The actual assignment may be adjusted to reflect the specific skills of the successful candidate.
EW Pratt High School is located in the Town of High Prairie which is at the junction of Highway 2 and Highway 749 within Big Lakes County. High Prairie is approximately 371 kilometres northwest of Edmonton and 118 kilometres west of Slave Lake.
Students are offered an academic program with access to an extensive list of options as well as a wide variety of activities to become involved in our school. EW Pratt students come from eight different communities in the surrounding region and our staff take pride in building a cohesive community among the students.
High Prairie School Division provides many professional development opportunities both at the school and division level. The goal is to provide employees with many opportunities to support growth and advancement in their professional practice.
Requirements:
- Candidates must have completed a Bachelor of Education Degree
- Must have (or be eligible to obtain) an Alberta Teaching Certificate or proof of application from Alberta Education.
- TQS or proof of application from the Alberta Teachers Association.
- Successful candidates must produce an ORIGINAL acceptable recent (less than six months old) Criminal Records Check which must include Vulnerable Sector Check.
