Clinical trials are the vehicles through which advances in medical science are translated to the benefit of patients and their communities providing essential conduits from scientific discovery to improved health outcomes for all. Alfred Health has been provided with funding over 6 years by the Federal Government to establish The TrialHub which will:
In addition the TrialHub will establish a national registry of clinical trials and participants linked to outcomes to identify areas of need and ensure quality of care; and promote benefits of clinical trials to the community enhancing health literacy; provide training of the workforce required for scaled clinical trial delivery.
About the role
The Education and Quality Manager role will work with the TrialHub Director in implementing monitoring and evaluating TrialHub Upskilling workforce program. This will include working with Partner organisations to develop and oversee trial related education and training needs across the TrialHub sites to ensure consistent implementation of initiatives in support of safe conduct of clinical trials. The successful applicant will need to also possess a good understanding of the requirements for the safe conduct of clinical trials in accordance with national and international guidelines
A key undertaking will be working with executive teams in our partner organisations to develop and implement a quality assurance approaches that underpins this education & training to support a culture of quality and compliance in the conduct of clinical trials.
