Job Description

Our client is a global EPCconstructor of electrical transmission infrastructure and renewable generation projects. They have an immediate requirement for anConstruction Manager Substation Construction to work on a large renewable grid connection project.

The Construction Manager Substation Construction will oversee the delivery of this project.

The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate:

  • Exceptional contractor management skills
  • Superior safety management
  • Previous success in managing project cost and schedule

To be considered you will have:

  • Formal qualifications in engineering or hold a trade certificate and able to demonstrate significant construction management experience
  • Extensive experience in the construction of substations with voltages greater than 132Kv and capacities in excess of 100MVA
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Collaborative approach and able to get the best out of the team

Experience in delivery of projects connected to the TransGrid network will be highly regarded. NSW residents are strongly encouraged to apply as are other candidates that are willing to relocate to NSW (Jerilderi) for duration of the project. The roster is Monday to Friday.
