Job Description
Project Kuiper is Amazons low Earth orbit satellite broadband network. Its mission is to deliver fast reliable internet to customers and communities around the world and weve designed the system with the capacity flexibility and performance to serve a wide range of customers from individual households to schools hospitals businesses government agencies and other organizations operating in locations without reliable connectivity.
The Kuiper Machine Shop at Project Kuiper is looking for a MFG Inventory Specialist to join our team deliver inventory
Export Control Requirement: Due to applicable export control laws and regulations candidates must be a U.S. citizen or national U.S. permanent resident (i.e. current Green Card holder) or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum.
Candidates must be 18 years or older with the ability to understand and adhere to all job requirements and safety guidelines.
Key job responsibilities
Ensure components meet strict quality standards before assembly or further processing
Adhere to strict quality standards and maintain accurate documentation
Identify equipment requirements and process improvements
Manage floor stock inventory
Work independently to prioritize tasks and meet company deliverables
Receive shipments and coordinate deliveries using forklifts and pallet jacks
Contribute to improving Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and safety protocols

The successful candidate will have experience working through problems with little information provided and is a highlymotivated self starter. The desired candidate will have experience in a fast paced environment.
About the team
The Kuiper machine shop provides development fabrication capabilities as well as future production machining. These operations occur in our Redmond facilities.
High school diploma or GED
1 years relevant aerospace/automotive manufacturing experience or or equivalent industry experience
Machine shop experience/cleaning experience
Experience working with MES software packages
Experience leading a team and meetings
Ability to rapidly change roles/responsibilities while working in a highpaced challenging work environment
Experience purchasing supplies and maintaining a budget
Experience with SOP creation and process improvement
Collegiate Degree from an accredited university

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $61100/year in our lowest geographic market up to $100800/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on jobrelated knowledge skills and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered equity signon payments and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package in addition to a full range of medical financial and/or other benefits.
