The ideal candidate will partner with Principal Mark LaBossiere to foster a positive inclusive learning environment where all students can DetailsPosition Type: Fulltime (200 Days)Application Deadline: Open until filledStart Date: July 1 2025 (for theschool year)Key Responsibilities1. StudentCentered Leadership Promote a healthy safe and supportive school environment where all students feel valued Support teachers in implementing developmentally appropriate practices for early learners Lead daily discipline using restorative practices and PBIS frameworks Manage therapeutic classroom interventions and crisis situations Implement bullying prevention strategies and Second Step curriculum2. Instructional Leadership Collaborate with teaching staff to enhance educational excellence Support curriculum development and implementation aligned with district goals Participate in classroom observations and teacher feedback processes Assist in analyzing student data to inform instructional decisions3. Community & Communication Build positive relationships with families staff and community partners Communicate effectively with all stakeholders about school programs and student progress Enhance public relations and community engagement initiatives Participate in developing and implementing school improvement plans 4. Administrative Management Assist with master scheduling and daily operations Support compliance with district state and federal requirements Collaborate on facility management and safety protocols Participate in budget planning and resource allocationRequirements Massachusetts Educator License as a PreK8 Principal/Assistant Principal Masters Degree in Education or related field Minimum of five years teaching experience preferably in early childhood / elementary education Demonstrated knowledge of early childhood development and learning Experience with datadriven instruction and intervention strategies Strong communication and interpersonal skills Commitment to inclusive education practices and meeting diverse student needsDesired Qualities Passion for early childhood education Strong background in literacy and numeracy development Experience with socialemotional learning approaches Demonstrated ability to build positive relationships with young children Commitment to family engagement in early learning Experience with Therapeutic Classroom management and TCIS (Therapeutic Crisis Intervention) Training in Safety Care Expertise in PBIS (Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports) implementation Knowledge of restorative practices for elementaryage students Familiarity with Bullying prevention strategies and Second Step curriculum Comfort with leading PD for teachers and staffMy application affirms that I have read and understand that the information which I have provided with this application process and the accompanying resume is true and complete to the best of my knowledge.
