We are seeking a driven and analytical Junior Data Scientist to join a fastpaced missionfocused team supporting data analysis visualization financial management process improvement and workforce development initiatives. In this role you will apply advanced data science methodologies and machine learning techniques to extract actionable insights from largescale datasets enabling smarter decisionmaking across critical operations.
Youll be expected to work in an Agile environment and collaborate with crossfunctional teams to solve complex challenges and deliver forwardthinking solutions using Python and other modern technologies.
Execute data science methodologies using Python libraries for data cleaning/wrangling exploratory data analysis (EDA) statistical modeling and visualization.
Apply machine learning techniques including clustering forecasting natural language processing (NLP) and graph analytics to analyze structured and unstructured datasets.
Support research efforts to develop actionable intelligence and leadership insights through data integration and advanced analytics.
Develop and maintain data visualizations dashboards and tools to communicate trends risks and opportunities to stakeholders.
Identify process inefficiencies and support improvements through analytics automation and algorithmic solutions.
Contribute to assessments of new technologies and systems to enhance data protection and reduce exposure to cyber threats.
Work collaboratively in an Agile development environment with regular deliverables and team interactions.
Bachelors degree in Data Science Computer Science Mathematics Engineering or a related field.
Active Secret clearance required.
3 years of experience applying supervised and unsupervised machine learning algorithms.
3 years of experience with artificial intelligence technologies and natural language processing (NLP).
3 years of handson experience with Python AI/ML Palantir
Strong understanding of data science workflows including EDA model development and evaluation.
Ability to communicate complex data findings in a clear concise and actionable format to nontechnical audiences.
Experience supporting DoD intelligence or federal government data environments.
Familiarity with visualization platforms such as Tableau Power BI
Experience working in crossfunctional or interdisciplinary teams focused on strategic data use.
