Job Description
Director of Nursing (DON)
Our client is looking for a Director of Nursing in Upper Marlboro MD. They are responsible for the organization development management and administration of daytoday nursing activities. The DON will help implement rules and expectations for the staff.

Responsibilities:
- Monday Friday 8am to 5pm
- With Shared 24/7 Accountability
- Reviews 6 Weeks Schedules to Ensure Adequate Staffing
- Adjusts Staff as Needed
- Makes Daily patient Rounds And Ensures participation of Staff in Meetings
- Team Building Skills
- Collaborating With Physicians And Various Disciplines Within The Facilities
- Assisting The Medical Staff With InHouse Procedures
- Communicating With Family Members
Requirements:
- Valid RN (Registered Nurse ) License
- 2 Years Associate or Bachelors Degree in Nursing
- Nursing Leadership Experience
- Clinical Knowledge of Skilled Nursing Facilities
- Computer Skills
- BLS and ACLS Certification
- Excellent Communication and Interpersonal Skill
