Job Description

Closing Date: Wednesday 5.21.2025

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensures proper staffing is scheduled for Office Staff.
  • Perform general office duties inclusive of but not limited to filing answering telephone(s) mail distribution and composing correspondence
  • Involved in the interviewing process conduct performance evaluations issue disciplinary actions and work with General Manager on final decisions in these areas.
  • Keep track of attendance records monitor lateness/absence/manual miss punches etc.
  • Ensures proper documentation is prepared by staff in order to maintain compliance with the particular airline guidelines FAA DOT and other regulatory agencies.
  • Interact with authorities TSA CBP Agriculture agents.
  • Provide excellent customer service to all customers at the counter and over the phone
  • Resolves employees concerns and submits to manager for action.
  • Monitor station supply levels and order as necessary.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • One year college certificate or technical school six months related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Must be able to pass a tenyear background check as required by US Customs.
  • Must be able to lift and move up to 70 pounds.
  • Aviation Industry experiences a plus.
  • Must be able to speak read and write in English proficiently.
  • Valid drivers license with good driving records
  • Must be available and flexible to work variable shifts including weekends and holidays.
  • Work is done primarily outdoors. Must be comfortable working in all weather conditions.
  • Must pass an FBI background check and obtain a custom seal.
  • Must pass drivers test with the Department of Airports and obtain a drivers license to drive on Airport Operational Area (AOA).
  • Must be able to pass all preemployment testing including drug testing and tenyear background check as required by US Customs.

While performing the duties of this job the employee may regularly work in outside weather conditions. The employee frequently works near moving mechanical parts high voltages and high hydraulic/pneumatic employee is also frequently exposed to very loud noise levels fumes or airborne particles and hazardous substances materials or waste. The employee occasionally works in high precarious places.
