Salary Information: Commensurate with qualifications and experience

Other Conditions: Position to begin in May or as soon thereafter as possible.


Duties and Responsibilities

  • Provide faculty support in the MSW and BSW reaffirmation process
  • Communicate and collaborate with DSW faculty and staff to gather required documentation including creating and managing deadlines and timelines tracking document submissions and following up with faculty and staff to complete tasks
  • Gather compile and analyze data for presentation to program chairs to inform the reaffirmation process
  • Critically evaluate syllabi to ensure readings are uptodate andoffer suggestions for outdated resources
  • Conduct advanced literature reviews to update syllabi across sequences and specialization under the direction of program chairs
  • Participate in the writing of the reaffirmationdocuments
  • Organize and monitor progress on the reaffirmation processoverall including timelines completing filling appropriate paperwork and worksheets and other project management tasks
  • Other duties as assigned


Minimum Qualifications

Education and Professional Work Experience

  • Possession of a pertinent baccalaureate degree in social work social sciences education or related field and 0 years of progressively responsible professional information technology experience with responsibilities for office administration or any equivalent combination of education and/or professional work experience which provides the required education knowledge skills and abilities as indicated.

Knowledge Skills and Abilities

  • Functional knowledge of office administration demonstrated by knowledge understanding and ability to apply principles concepts methodology and terminology.
  • Functional knowledge and understanding of technology systems hardware and software associated with office administration.
  • Demonstrated ability to recognize problems identify possible causes and resolve routine problems in the area of office administration.
  • Demonstrated ability to understand oral and written documentation write reports and procedures and communicate effectively in a variety of situations.
  • Demonstrated ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with internal and external organizations groups team members and individuals.

Desirable Qualifications

  • Masters Degree in Social Work Social Sciences Education related field
  • Knowledge and experience of the Council on Social Work Education accreditation process
