Provides inventory and resupply services to areas within the Department of Surgery. These services include the management of specific patientcare and departmentalsupport materials and/or equipment subject to customer need medicalcenter or departmental policies procedures and available resources. Education:
High school graduate or equivalent preferred. Must have good math and writing skills. Be able to calculate inventory of materials accurately. Be able to learn and complete dataentry routines relative to inventory assignments. Be able to comprehend and document all assignments legibly.

Other Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
Should be able to consistently conduct behavior in a controlled and professional manner that leads to good working relationships with coworkers customers patients and visitors. Practice good verbal nonverbal and written communication skills. Be able to act as a positive resource person and department representative.
Must be able to routinely lift an excess of 3550 pounds and push/pull large heavy transport carts. Be able to stay on feet for extended periods and walk extended distances. Be able to work under stress to provide maximum customerservice levels.
May have contact with needles sharp instruments or other puncturecausing items. Possible external and internal irritants such as cleaning agents solutions or gasses and may be exposed to infectious materials. May be subject to fatigue and/or injury associated with medium to heavy physical mental and emotional fatigue associated with job stress.
