We are seeking a Scaffold Builder / Insulator for a position in Soda Springs ID. This position assembles positions modifies and dismantles scaffolding to job specifications. Nonexempt role; Reports to a Frontline Supervisor (Leadman or foreman); Assigned duties according to specific procedures / work is checked frequently.

Essential Qualifications:

• High school or equivalent
• One to four years of experience in specified skill (depending on mechanic level)
• Ability to read engineered drawings preferred
• Ability to operate different types of Forklift
• National Certification preferred (may be required by client)
• Written preemployment qualification test
• Postoffer drug/alcohol screen and physical evaluation
• Job site safety requirements as required by the client (clean shaven long sleeves steel toe boots etc.)
• Safety equipment as required by the client (hard hat safety glasses gloves respirator hearing protection safety harness with lanyard etc.)
• Applicant/employee must not pose a direct threat to the health or safety of others in the workplace
• Employee may be required to provide the following: toolbox tool belt adjustable wrench ratchet wrench with socket claw hammer cutting pliers torpedo level tape and rain suit

Functional Requirements:

Inspects surface for holes objects and levelness Assembles scaffold consisting of guardrails midrails braces planks toe boards screens and/or wheels Positions scaffold by rolling it into place or erecting in place Secures scaffold to permanent structure if required Some other assembly types may include hard barricades strong backs engineered scaffold stairways etc. Perform additional assignments per supervisors direction.

Compensation

Final agreed upon compensation is based upon individual qualifications and experience.

Physical Involvement:

Employee may be required to do the following: climbing ladders scaffolds structures etc. above and below ground level; maintaining balance on ladders scaffolds structures etc.; reaching in all directions handling and manipulating objects and materials; coordinating the movements of eyes hands and fingers to operate tools and equipment; lifting 30 to 50 pounds from ground level waist level and/or overhead; carrying objects tools equipment etc.; standing; sitting; walking; pushing; pulling; bending; kneeling; crouching/squatting; crawling; seeing with or without correction; hearing with or without correction.
