Job Description
Waste Connections Inc. is looking for a Broker Representative to join our GROWING Charlotte NC market area.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Communicate effectively over email and phone with customers.
- Respond to customer inquiries via phone and email to resolve customer issues.
- Liaise with internal teams to determine service requirements resolve issues or complaints.
- Sufficient understanding of RMO and ARES preferred.
- Coordinate the setup and installation of new accounts.
- Creates and closes out work orders.
- Analyze accountancy activity and suggest opportunities for service improvements to the customer.
- Maintain appropriate documentation per company policy and internal controls.
- Reconcile customer balances and perform customer audits.
- Understand customers aging balances and our local collections policy.
- Reach out to Broker Accounts with any past due balances
- Understand broker contract language such as price increases terms and conditions service increases/decreases.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- Excellent communication skills both orally and written.
- Ability to multitask and Excellent organizational skills
- Experience with Microsoft Word Excel and Outlook
- Physical ability: Able to complete sedentary work requiring prolonged sitting able to complete repetitive motions such as typing/mouse use/operating a phone ability to look at a screen for long periods of time tolerate exposure to typical call center sounds and wearing a headset.
