Job Description
We areSystems LLCa leading manufacturer and designer of loading dock equipment.Wecontinue to GROW and are seeking a motivated team player to join our organization.
This is a role within Systems Manufacturing Production group. A successful incumbent is expected to (i) follow written inspection and testing procedures to ensure manufactured product meets established construction aesthetic and operational standards; perform all quality control checks electronically within an ERP system and (ii) carry out quality assessment measures of all products ready to be shipped.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Follow written inspection and testing procedures to ensure manufactured product meets established construction aesthetic and operational standards; perform all quality control checks electronically within an ERP system
- Carry out quality assessment measures of all products ready to be shipped
- Reject all nonconforming product before it ships to the customer
- Record inspection results by completing forms summarizing rework and inputting data into a quality database
- Use gauges such as go/nogo and other devices to ensure product was built to standards
- Maintain awareness of Engineering and or process changes that affect product quality (ECNs)
- Immediately report reoccurring quality issues to Management
- Update QC knowledge by participating in educational opportunities sponsored by the company
- Ensure jigs/tools have been returned to the correct storage location at days end
- Ensure proper placement of all warning decals
- Comply with health and safety guidelines and rules; managers should also ensure compliance across their teams.
- Protect Chamberlain Groups and Systems reputation by keeping information confidential.
- Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops reading professional publications establishing personal networks and participating in professional societies.
- Contribute to the team effort by accomplishing related results and participating on projects as needed.
Minimum Qualifications
- No minimum education required
- 2 years of experience in a manufacturing environment
- Ability to read tape measure and blueprints
- Ability to always follow instructions and processes
- Proficiency in MS Excel Word
- Proficient written and verbal communication skills
- Mechanical aptitude

The pay for this position is ($18:00); base pay offered may vary depending on a number of factors including but not limited to the position offered location education training and/or experience. In addition to base pay also offered is a comprehensive benefits package and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements).
This position is eligible for participation in a shortterm incentive plan subject to the terms of the applicable plans and policies
