Flexion Inc. a Madison WI based IT Consulting and Services firm is looking for a Change Management Communications Writer to work on a consulting project. This is a hybrid position with work being performed in the Madison WI area.

This person will be responsible for identifying and crafting clear compelling and strategic communications that support organizational change initiatives within Digital Workplace and Service Management areas. This role requires a strong understanding of organizational change management principles and the ability to translate complex concepts into accessible content for diverse audiences.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify communication needs and develop strategies that align with organizational change management goals in the digital workplace.
  • Work closely with our Corporate Communications area to ensure alignment and consistency in messaging.
  • Create edit and proofread a variety of documents including reports presentations newsletters emails posts and training materials.
  • Develop usercentric documents from technical information ensuring clarity and accessibility for nontechnical audiences.
  • Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to gather information and ensure consistency in messaging across all communication channels.
  • Manage the distribution of communications through appropriate channels ensuring timely delivery and engagement.
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of communication strategies and make recommendations for improvement.
  • Support change management activities by developing content that facilitates understanding and adoption of new digital processes tools and systems.
  • Maintain a repository of communication materials and ensure they are uptodate and accessible to stakeholders.
  • Assist in organizing and facilitating workshops webinars and meetings related to change management initiatives in the digital workplace

Required experience:

  • At least five years experience in communication strategy development and document writing with at least two years of experience in change management.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a keen eye for detail.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Familiarity with change management methodologies and best practices particularly in digital workplace settings.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and content management systems.
  • Experience with Digital Workplace Service Management Change Management Certifications and ITIL experience are helpful qualifications for this position.

The pay rate for this position is in the $4553/hr range.
